Karolina Anna Baker
Karolina Anna Baker began studying the piano at age seven under the direction of the world renowned pianist Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi at the Pinault School of Music in Manhasset, Long Island.
During her ten years at the Pinault School of Music, Karolina performed annually at Steinway Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
She was one of the students chosen to perform at the school's Annual Gala in 2003 and 2004.
The Pinault School of Music also arranges monthly performances at local churches, which Karolina regularly participated in.
She has performed in concerts at her elementary and high schools as well as presenting two solo recitals in 1997 and 1999 at the Kosciousko Foundation in New York City.
Karolina is now in her second year of study at the William Paterson University where she is majoring in Classical Piano Performance under the tutelage of Professor Donald Garcia.
She has been a member of the student piano ensemble since her arrival there in 2003.
With the piano ensemble, Karolina has had the opportunity to perform Percy Grainger's "Green Bushes" for six hands.
Karolina has also been accompanying vocal majors for the past four semesters.
In addition, Karolina teaches piano locally in her hometown of Roslyn Heights, New
York. On February 24, 1996, Karolina was chosen to perform at the Leschetizky Association's Young Peoples Concert at Steinway Hall.
She was also asked to perform with the Siero-Landolphi Piano Studio and on April 6,
2002 Karolina appeared with the students at A.C. Piano Craft in Manhattan.
